These are old grain grinding stones from India. The chakki or low table had two stones, one fixed on the bottom and one on top that would be spun by a wooden handle (smaller hole in stone) to grind the grain. The flour was then collected inside this open wooden table for the days use.
Mounted on a stand they make beautiful sculptural pieces. Made of granite with an incised concentric ring pattern in the face of the stone.
