Naga Tribal Woman Carving

 Naga Tribal Carving

A Naga Tribal carving an  image of a woman is rare preferring to carve stylist images of bulls, male figures and wildlife. This piece may have been part of a long house entry, maybe the ‘woman’s’ house possibly representing the mythological figure called Jili Mosiro, a tribal goddess mother Earth. An old piece with insect damage to some areas which are in poor condition.
