Indian Folk & Religious Art

India is a vast country and culture and hand crafted objects have always been embellished with decorations. Whether everyday items as toys (i.e. Marapatchi dolls ) to religious pieces and Temple carvings such as Kalathalas. From the far Northeast we carry primitive panel carvings by the isolated mountain Naga Tribe who were up to the 1930’s a headhunting society.
