 Antique Reliquary

Rare wooden altar cabinet from a Portuguese church in South India. This piece has an array of spiritual symbols on it, including a metal crucifix embedded in the top, an all seeing eye, a dove, grape leaves, a sunburst, roses, wheat, and a chalice painted on the front. Original paint, dated 1926. Two very old sacramental linens inside which are original to the piece. Refurbished and in good antique condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
